The California Art Club (the oldest art organization west of the Mississippi) and Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) are currently collaborating on a series of events involving and celebrating the latest Mars Rover landing on Mars.
This Saturday, March 13, at 11:00 AM PST, I will be participating in a Zoom panel with scientists John Callas and Laura Danly discussing art’s relationship to science. The panel is entitled The Intersection of Art & Science. Tickets to the event are just $5.00. The ticket purchasing deadline is Friday March 12 at 6:00 PM PST. The Zoom link will be sent to all attendees after the ticketing deadline. Submit questions to me or the other panelists via programs@californiaartclub.org.

See you there!
I signed up and looking forward to it thanks for the invite
This would have been one to hear. I’m sorry I missed it. I gave up social media for Lent so I’m just getting caught up. One friend did e-mail me a video link showing a recreation of Perseverance’s journey to and landing on Mars. The touch down on the red planet with the rover cushioned by balloons and coming on in leaps and bounds that would have put John Carter to shame was amazing to watch. It looked like an alien tumbleweed and I am amazed that all the technology survived. Just waiting now for telemetry showing the cities of the Tharks. Blessings to you and yours, Aaron
